Missing student UPDATED

University of Utah Police located a University of Utah student reported missing Oct. 17. The 19-year-old man was found a little after 7 p.m. on Monday evening.

University leaders appreciate the awareness and quick response of the University of Utah community in gathering information about the missing person. And University Police thank the Sandy City Police Department and Unified Police Department for their assistance in the case.

University of Utah Police are seeking help from the public in locating a University of Utah student last seen today, October 17, 2022, near the Lassonde Studios housing building at 2:30 p.m.

The missing student is a 19-year-old Asian, male, 5 ft. 10 in., with a slender build, black hair, brown eyes, and glasses. He was last seen wearing blue shorts, a dark grey long sleeve shirt, a backpack with a gray or white stripe, and sneakers.
