If this is an emergency or your immediate safety is at risk, dial 911 or University Police at 801-585-2677.

The Department of Public Safety is committed to the safety and success of everyone – our students, staff, faculty, and visitors.  We encourage individuals to report hate crimes and hate-motivated incidents so they can be referred to the appropriate campus partners for review and/or investigation.  Monitoring these incidents helps us better understand our campus climate and address concerning/threatening behaviors before they escalate into violence.
Visit our FAQ for more information.

Incidents submitted via the University's Public Incident Report are reviewed Monday - Friday during regular business hours.  Reports submitted outside of these hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be reviewed the next business day.

If you experience or witness a hate crime, or if you feel threatened/intimidated, you can call University Police directly at 801-585-2677.
You can also submit a report anonymously.

Support Resources

Counseling and other support services are available from various entities on campus.  Visit SAFEU for more information.
