If you experience or witness a hate crime, or if you feel threatened/intimidated,
call University Police at 801-585-2677.

You can also submit a report anonymously.

The Department of Public Safety is committed to the safety and success of everyone – our students, staff, faculty, and visitors.  We encourage individuals to report hate crimes and hate-motivated incidents so they can be referred to the appropriate campus partners for review and/or investigation.  Reporting these incidents helps us better understand our campus climate and address concerning/threatening behaviors before they escalate into targeted violence.

Visit our FAQ for more information.

Incidents reported via the links on this website are reviewed Monday - Friday during regular business hours.  Reports submitted outside of these hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be reviewed the following business day.
