2025 Utah Campus Safety Summit

Day 1 – Open to the public. In person and virtual option.
Wed., March 19, 2025 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Join campus communities from around the state to explore important and relevant topics affecting campus safety for all users, explore future trends, and discuss new approaches to campus safety that are making a difference. Some topics that will be addressed include workplace violence, preventing mass shootings, cybercrimes, increased violence in healthcare, and providing services to those who cause harm.
Day 2 – Registration open only to first responders.
Thurs., March 20, 2025 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join campus and municipal first responders from around the state to explore important and relevant topics affecting campus safety for all users, explore future trends, and discuss new approaches to campus safety that are making a difference. Some topics that will be addressed include the future of policing, case review of the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, and ways to improve law enforcement and education administrators communication and collaboration.

This annual conference is an opportunity to bring together our diverse campus communities to improve the safety and security on all our state’s educational campuses. It will explore important and relevant topics effecting campus safety for all users, explore future trends, and discuss new approaches to campus safety that are making a difference.
