U OF U ALERT: URGENT WINTER WEATHER WARNING

In advance of severe winter weather beginning this afternoon, faculty and instructors are advised to move Tuesday evening and Wednesday classes online if possible. This will alleviate expected hazardous driving conditions and give crews time to safely clear roadways and sidewalks. The university’s health care system and hospitals will remain open, as will essential university functions.

Faculty and staff who are able to work remotely should do so on Wednesday February 22. Please check with your immediate supervisors for more information about your individual units and departments.

Groups who have scheduled events or meetings on campus this evening are encouraged to reschedule.

University personnel are monitoring the storm and snow clearing efforts and will notify the University community about campus operations again on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
